GARLAND EXPLAINS TRUMP'S HOUSING HUNT
Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the United States of America, has stated that the Department of Justice (DoJ) has asked for a federal judge to unseal the warrant that was used to search the Florida property of former President Donald Trump earlier this week. The warrant was approved by the court and was used to conduct the search earlier this week.

Garland provided justification for the search that the FBI carried out at Trump's Mar-A-Lago club on Monday by declaring that he had personally authorised it during a brief news conference that took place on Thursday. The press conference took place on Thursday. Garland made the following statement to the press: "The Department filed the motion to make public the warrant and receipt in light of the former president's public confirmation of the search, the surrounding circumstances, and the enormous public interest in this subject," Garland said. "In view of the surrounding circumstances and the significant public interest in this case, the Department filed the request to make public the warrant and receipt," the motion reads. "[T]he Department is aware of the strong public interest in this subject."
In spite of the fact that he possessed a copy of the document but has not disclosed its contents as of yet, President Trump indicated late in the day on Thursday that he would not be opposed to the unsealing of the search warrant. He stated that he would not be opposed to the unsealing of the document.
