TO ENCOURAGE SELF COLLABORATING -HEALTH MANAGEMENT IN APAC

 This year's HIMSS22 Asia-Pacific Conference was held in Bali, and one of the speakers there, Benedict Tan, asserted that population-level self-health management is only possible if the entire health ecosystem unites its resources and efforts.


Tan is the group chief digital strategy officer at SingHealth and the chief data officer. Singapore's public healthcare system is dominated by SingHealth.


According to his dystopian theory, digital technology would enable every patient to receive the resources they need to take control of their health.


He claims that in the modern era of Healthcare 4.0, which has blended both digital and non-digital technology, this is progressively becoming a reality.
