ARGUMENT ON THE COCKPIT ON A GENEVA-PARIS AIRCRAFT, TWO AIR FRANCE PILOTS WERE SUSPENDED
Following to an argument in the cockpit that leaded to cabin crew to step in. Due to which Two Air France pilots have been suspended.
The incident happened on Flight from Geneva to Paris
According to the French Publication they stated that Pilots and Co pilots allegedly entered into the Flight immediately after take-off and snatched each other’s collar and hit of them hit another one.
Due to pilots’ inappropriate gestures air France authorities have mentioned that the aircraft continued and landed safely.
The reports follow a review by France's aviation investigative agency (BEA) that revealed Air France pilots lacked rigor in following protocol during safety issues.
Air France pilots were found to have changed the flight path after a gasoline leak on a flight from Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, to Paris in December 2020. For not according to protocol and lowering the engine's power or landing right away, the crew received criticism.
The BEA study issued a warning that the engine could have caught fire even though the jet made a safe landing in Chad.
As per the report it also mentioned three further incidents during the time period from 2017 to 2022 in which some pilots disregarded safety procedures in favor of following their own judgment.
According to Air France authorities stated that "the safety measure of its customers and crew members is at its utmost priority" and they do conduct a safety audit.
According to the pilots' unions they stated that Security is at the utmost importance to all of the company's employees.
