JAPAN AIMS TO ARRANGE A CREDITORS' MEETING ON SRI LANKA'S FINANCIAL PROBLEM
According to the report it states People with the knowledge of planning said that Japan is planning to set up a Conference meeting with the Japan Creditors in the hope that they will be able to resolve the problem of country’s debt issue.
According to the sources it stated that Tokyo is willing is to host a talk between Creditors countries so that they can help Colombo to resolve its debt crisis since independence, but its not sure that major creditor country China will be participating or not and even uncertainty surrounding Sri Lanka’s Financial Situation.
According to this source, Japan is willing to preside over a conference with China to resolve Sri Lanka's debt, which is expected to total $6.2 billion in bilateral payments by the end of the year.
