NORTH KOREA CLAIMING RECENT FEVER CASES WAS FLU NOT COVID 19

 According to North Korea they state that the fever cases faced last week was cases for influenza rather than a recurrence of Covid 19.

As there were 4 new fever cases found in the neighbouring provinces of Ryanggang which borders China. North Korean authorities announced Lockdown at certain areas.

As per the case report due to insufficiency of testing resources, North Korea refers “Fever patient” instead of Covid Patients.

On Thursday according to Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) officials they stated the Country were facing new cases of being infected with malignant disease Just two weeks after the nation declared free over Novel Coronavirus.

North Korea announced that the region under Lockdown will be free from lockdown on Friday as there were no Covid Infections.

The fever cases Ryanggang provinces were facing was influenza according to KCNA state emergency epidemic prevention headquarters.

After recovery the fever was returned into Normal temperature.

In May an Omicron outbreak in Pyongyang the nation which maintained a strict blockade at the beginning of the pandemic.

Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, stated this month that the virus had been defeated and that the country's "maximum emergency epidemic prevention system" will be lifted as reported cases reached zero. Kim Jong Un himself became unwell during the outbreak.

As per the record it states that North Korea faces the poorest healthcare in the world as they have very few intensive care units, underfunded hospitals and no Covid therapeutic options.
