RUSSIA BEING ANSWERABLE TO EUROPEAN UNION FOR ROCKET TERROR

 On Thursday European Union denounced Russia for its fatal attack on a Ukrainian train station and that anyone "responsible for Russian rocket terror will be held accountable."

As the death toll from the Chaplyne strike reached 25, EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell tweeted, "The EU strongly condemns another horrific attack by Russia on civilians."

Borrell did not mentioned how Brussels planned to pressure Moscow, but he did announce that he would be hosting talks between the EU's foreign and defense ministers in Prague the following week to address the problem.

He will advocate for the EU to train Ukrainian soldiers in Prague.Poland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, EU nations with land borders with Russia, will also suggest prohibiting Russians from obtaining tourist visas for the EU.

Germany and a few other EU members are reluctant to approve this policy, though, for fear that it will make it more challenging for Russian dissidents to apply for asylum in the EU.

On Wednesday, a station in the Ukrainian city of Chaplyne, which is part of the Dnipropetrovsk area, was attacked by Russia.

The number of fatalities increased overnight to 25, including two children, while another 31 people were injured, according to the Ukrainian state rail operator.
