SOUTH KOREA AND RUSSIA AGREES TO SUPPORT THE EGYPTIAN NUCLEAR POWER
Rosatom a Russian state nuclear company has agreed to deal with $2.25 billion to provide components and construct turbine buildings for Egypt ‘s first nuclear power plant according to south Korean Authorities.
According to a statement from the South Korean Energy Ministry they States that a contract for the state-owned Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power to provide supplies and machinery for Egypt's El Dabaa project has been awarded.

Rosatom started building work last month it is around 130 kilometres northwest of cario in the Dabaa which is Egyptian Coastal town. It includes Four reactors with a combined capacity of 1.2 gigawatts
The Russian company Atomstroyexport, a division of Rosatom, subcontracted with the South Korean company to build the turbine buildings and other structures at the site in addition to supplying some tools.
Washington reportedly sought advice before the contract was signed, According to the South Korean Presidential Office and Trade Ministry, to guarantee that the technologies offered by Seoul would not violate US sanctions on Russia.
One of the only large Russian companies under state-control that is exempt from Western sanctions is Rosatom, which c built the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project.
