EGYPT CONTRACTS WITH KOREA FOR A $2.25 BILLION NUCLEAR POWER FACILITY

 


The industry ministry announced on Thursday that Korea had been awarded a 3 trillion won ($2.25 billion) contract to build nuclear power plants in El Dabaa, Egypt. This contract was eagerly anticipated by the government, which has been working to reestablish nuclear plants as a significant export good.
