MUNICH 2022

According to European Championships Management (ECM), all nine of the sports that are being contested for in the Munich 2022 European Championships, which started today, will be shown for free on television in Ukraine. These championships are being held in Munich in 2022. This is being done "as a gesture of solidarity" with the other organisations.

This is the result of a media rights deal that was established between ECM and the public broadcasting corporation of Ukraine (also known as Suspilne or UA:PBC), which made terrestrial television coverage available over the air for free. This deal came about as a result of the fact that terrestrial television coverage was made available over the air. During the second multi-event European Championships, the Suspilne regional stations in Ukraine will give coverage for at least 75 hours of television programming and 175 hours of live streaming coverage. Throughout this programme, each of the nine sports that are a part of the tournament will be highlighted. The coverage of the following sports will take place in Ukraine throughout the course of the eleven days of the Championships, which begin on August 11 and go through August 21: athletics, beach volleyball, canoe sprint, cycling, gymnastics, rowing, sport climbing, triathlon, and table tennis.

Considering that the European Championships is one of the most important sporting events that takes place each year, the Ukrainian Public Broadcasting Company (UA: PBC) is thankful for the opportunity that was provided by the European Championships Management and intends to cover the performances of Ukraine in as many different ways as is humanly possible.
