POPULATION DECLINE IN SOUTH KOREA FOR A SECOND YEAR, RISING NUMBER OF FAMILIES WITH JUST ONE PERSON

 

On Tuesday According to government Statistics released , South Korea population reduced for the second year in 2021 while the proportion of families with just one person increased.

In accordance with statistics gathered by the Ministry of Interior and Safety, the country's registered population as of the end of 2021 was 51,638,809, a decrease of 0.37 percent from the 51,829,023 counted at the end of 2020.
